So this post is for all of you out there who dye their hair. Do you find that your hair color fades easily? That has always been a problem of mine and I hate it. I dye my hair a beautiful color and then a month later it just looks so BLAH. There is no vibrancy left in it, no life left in it, its just dull. No one wants that. Every girl wants a vibrant hair color, that shines perfectly in the light and never fades. Although I can't completely help you with the fading process, there are some steps you can take to ensure that your hair color looks amazing, even 2 months after you've had it dyed.
1. Color Support Shampoo - by Bumble and Bumble
Bumble and Bumble is one of my favorite hair care lines. They are geared towards a young, hip crowd and manufacture products for that specific crowd. This shampoo is no exception. It comes in 5 different shades : True Red Shampoo, Cool Brunette Shampoo, Warm Brunette Shampoo, Golden Blonde Shampoo and Cool Blonde Shampoo. I would recommend asking a professional which shade would work best for you before buying. As you can tell each individual shampoo is geared towards specific hair shades and colors, ensuring that you get the best results from the one that you use. This shampoo is awesome because it does not strip your hair color like so many other shampoos out there do. This helps to put color back into your hair, to make it the brilliant shade it was when you first dyed it. I absolutely love this shampoo. I have tried it in a couple different colors, since I'm a chameleon and am always changing my hair color, and each one has a unique way of bringing out the amazing vibrancy the color of your hair should have. I purchase mine at Lord's and Ladies in West Roxbury. If you don't live local I know that they sell B and B products at Sephora now which is AWESOME! And if you cant even find it there, they have their own website where you can purchase this shampoo

2. Color Support Conditioner - Bumble and Bumble
So this is the conditioner that is paired with the above shampoo. It is an absolute MUST that you use these 2 together. They are formulated to be used together. This conditioner is like none other that I have ever used. The first thing you will notice about the conditioner is that the actual stuff itself has a bright color to it, and it even leaves a little left over color on your hands after you've applied it to your hair. Why would there be COLOR left over on your hands you ask? Well this conditioner is the shit and has a subtle color booster in it. This means that every time you apply this to your hair you are putting a little color back into it, and helping to prevent it from fading. This is actually the real deal. At one point I had a misstep in my journey through hair colors and decided to dye it red. (for all of you out there who have ever thought about putting red in your hair just remember this, it is the HARDEST color to get out of your hair. No matter how many times I have dyed my hair since, after a couple weeks the red comes back through. ANNOYING. my hair dresser was NOT happy when I requested this) My hairdresser recommended this line to me to maintain the vibrancy of the red color, and let me tell you it truly did. My hair looked as red the first day as it did before I decided to dye it back brown. This stuff is the REAL deal so if your looking to amp up your locks, and help give your fading color a BOOST try this and see what you think. I know this line is a little pricey but the products last a really long time, and in my opinion every shampoo or conditioner that I own that was on the pricey side is worth every penny because I constantly get complimented on my hair. Not only do I get complimented but I feel happy and great about it too!

So there is one line of color supporting shampoo/conditioner that I absolutely love and swear by. This is the real deal. It doesn't just protect your color it gives it an extra boost! i will advise not to use this every single day. You actually should change up your shampoo and conditioner very often - so be daring try this stuff out and you won't be disappointed :)
