So this post is going to be all about bronzers since I was asked to do so - so here it is! Every woman should own a good bronzer, it is a MUST. We're getting to those months where the sun is farthest away from us, meaning NO SUN TO TAN :'( wahh. I know it's depressing. This time of year you wake up and it's dark and you come home from work and it's dark; you just cant catch a break. Your skin is turning back to its regular pasty white color, and your looking for a pick me up, and one of the first places that I find cheer is in a little color on that dull skin of mine. Bronzer is something I can't live without, and neither should you! Here are some of the products I love to use to give me some extra color, and help to bring life back into my pale face! Nothing is worse than having your picture taken, and noticing you basically blend in with the white back ground because you are so pale! Here are some of my favorites! I hope you enjoy -
1. MAC Bronzing Powder in Matte Bronze
So you all probably know by now that I am a huge supporter of Benefit Cosmetics (I've talked about it a lot already). One of my other most favorite brands of make up is M.A.C. Their makeup line is full of dramatic eye shadows, luscious lip glosses, and some of the best bronzers on the market! The first thing I look for in a bronzer is the right kind of color. I have tried so many different bronzers and Matte Bronze is the only one out there that I have been able to stay consistent with. It is one of their darkest bronzers, but it works perfectly on my skin. What I also love about this color is that it has NO sparkle in it. Most of MAC's bronzers have either a little or a lot of glitter in them, which I tend to refrain from. If your putting this all over your face, you do not need to look like a 6th grader loading up on the glitter.
The key to this bronzer is using it minimally, you don't need to cake it on, and also using the right kind of brush. I use the bronzing brush from Sephora and it works amazingly. I gently rub the brush around the bronzer, tap the excess powder off, and apply it to my face blending in with my neck. Ensure that it doesn't look like you have a mask on by applying the powder as close to your ear as you can. If you haven't tried a MAC bronzer before, you will be pleasantly surprised with this one! Unfortunately this shade of bronzer is really hard to find. They do not sell this one at counters in stores like Bloomingdales or Macy's, but rather the only place I've been able to find it is at the actual MAC store.

2. NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna
This sounds a little familiar right? Well I already talked about the NARS Body Illuminator in Laguna, in one of my previous posts, and this is its kid sister Laguna Bronzing Powder. This stuff is simply incredible. Although I am not a huge fan of glitter in a bronzer, this one does have a little shimmer to it without giving it that teen make up look. This is a rich brown color, that gives you nothing of that orangey, fake tan look. I would not say I have fair skin by any means, I usually always have a little color, and this looks AMAZING on me. This isn't just awesome for people who are darker skinned, I have seen it used on very fair skinned girls and it just gives them that sun kissed look. You have to apply it with the right kind of brush, specifically a bronzer brush. When using the right brush and technique you will be very happy with the results that Laguna gives you!

3. Victoria's Secret Loose Bronzing Powder
Sometimes I'm looking for a good bronzer that I can use on my neck/chest area. One of the best products I have found is this Loose Bronzing Powder. It is packaged so the brush and the makeup are all together in one place, which is awesome! I personally use one that was put out by their PINK line and it has a scent and glitter in it, which is an automatic plus. When I'm going out on the town sometimes I want a little glitter to spruce up my look, so this combination of bronzer/glitter works amazingly together. You can put it anywhere that you feel like a little color, or a little shimmer. What I love is how this look comes out in pictures. Your skin literally looks like its glowing, and shimmery especially from the flash of a camera. So if your looking for glamor this is where to find it! You can find this product at any Victoria's Secret
Loose Bronzing Powder- $16
Don't let this cold weather bring you down. Let your inner goddess shine with some of these choices from bronzing powder. Everyone looks better with some color ;)
