Products are basically my life, and I am always on the hunt for the next best thing. So here are some products that I am loving, or want to try because the research I have done makes me want the product really bad! So here are some of the new products I think you should try!
Coastal Scents Contour and Blush Palette – Contouring is usually reserved for professional make up application, but with the right technique any person can achieve a contoured and highlighted look at home. I have tried a couple of different palettes and right now this is one of the best, especially with its low price tag. This palette comes with 4 HUGE highlighting and contouring shades, and 2 blush shades. All of these shades are matte, come out perfectly on a brush, and look flawless on any skin color. So you don’t know what contouring is? Contouring can be used to make cheekbones look defined, a nose look slimmer, and can make a face look more symmetrical. Highlighting is meant to accentuate the places on your face where natural light will hit. For $18 it is well worth the money. Still can’t get the hang of contouring? Customer 1 - Wow! Actually, I had often imagined something just like this contour & blush palette, but figured I would have to make it by taking the tins of powder out of their compacts and gluing them into some sort of flat palette. So, twenty years later, having never found the right palette or successfully getting much makeup out of its case, I finally found this by accident when it showed up with some other search on Amazon. I can't say enough good things about this compact/palette - I use every color and I love that they are all matte (much more effective). This is a good sized palette (6"x9") with large pressed powders. Colors are true to the photo; white, light beige/tan, bright (slightly warm) pink, light peach, brown, and medium/dark cool pink. Every skin tone will be able to blend the perfect match, then use the light colors for highlighting, the bright pink (highly pigmented) for the apple of the cheek, the darker pink (less pigmented) for more of a blush/bronze effect, and the brown for mixing shades and for contouring like hiding upper eyelid bags or slimming the nose. I had a Lauren Hutton face disk with smaller tins of powders and creams that I liked but did not use many of the shades, and quit using it at all a while ago. This Coastal Scents palette could replace pounds of powders (stuffed in my bathroom, each in its plastic container), and be used much more often because it's so easy and versatile. If you like light makeup coverage, you can use this for most of your needs. If you want to brighten up your complexion, this is fast and easy, and you couldn't ask for better colors.
Customer 2 - I LOVE this palette. Like really really love. lol You can blend and highlight to your hearts content. Huge pots of beautiful smooth powder(the yellow is my favorite) with just the right amount of color to do the job. It's earned a place on my must have list now.

Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette in Warm – Tired of spending $14-20 on eye shadows from MAC or Sephora? This palette may just be the answer to your prayers. This palette comes in all different colors, but for me the Warm palette is perfect, because it is more neutral shades rather than bright, extreme colors. The colors range from grays, to beige to purples, all beautiful colors that can compare to any MAC or Sephora eye shadow. This palette contains colors for any occasion whether it be a toned down look for work, or a bold smoky eye to go out on the town, and everything in between. In this you will find shadows that are both matte, and some with a little glitter. The colors are very pigmented, so you won’t need to layer this on to achieve the look that you want. One suggestion is to use a primer on your eyes before, because the color can crease a little bit. Other than that this palette is amazing and is only $21. I know hard to believe that 88 different eye shadows could only cost $21, but it’s true. You can purchase this palette and the previous palette on the Coastal Scents website. Customer 1 - These are such great eyeshadows, heavily pigmented and they have a great variety of shades. Though this is a "warm" set it would be better described as neutral. They include not just the warm shades but the silver and black neutrals as well. Tossing in a few fun greens, blues and purples this makes for a great kit!
Customer 2- Reading the reviews, I knew beforehand that the shadows would be approximately dime-sized, if just a tad bigger. The colors are beautiful and only one of mine was broken. However, that's not a big deal because I can still use it :) There's lots of variety and color and I'm excited about it!
All About Eyes De-Puffing Eye Massage- I know I have talked about this before, but I recently purchased it for myself and WOW this thing is amazing. I don’t necessarily have puffy under eyes, but I do have some noticeable black bags sometimes, so I decided to give this a try when I happened to walk by it in Sephora. This is formulated with caffeine and antioxidants that help to reduce puffiness, black circles, and bags, even helping to make them go away over time. You just roll it under your eyes 2 times from the inside of your eye to the outside, and seriously within a minute you will experience eyes that look more awake, and under eyes that look bright. For an added bonus, stick this in the fridge and experience a cooling sensation when you apply it. Seriously this stuff is awesome and at $25 you can find it at any Clinique Counter or Sephora.
