Long Hair Don't Care

In a previous post I have talked about Luxy Hair Extensions, and honestly since that post I have NOT put them in my hair because they are way too long.  You know how Kim Kardashian has long luxurious hair?  Well these extensions gave me that same sort of look except they looked insanely long on me and just looked fake immediately.  I was actually kind of pissed because I had spent so much money on them only to have them sit in a drawer.  That is until I found a video on pinterest showing how a woman cut her extensions, and I thought why not cut my own so that they look more natural?  And that is exactly what I did.

I first took the extensions with the most amount of clips on it and put them in my hair very close to the bottom of my head, literally with a tiny amount of hair to clip them onto.  I then clipped them in and then decided where I wanted to cut them.

I am no professional hairdresser by any means, so I was quite nervous at first.  I decided that I wanted the hair to go probably an inch or two past where my natural hair ends.  I then held where I wanted the extensions to end, and just cut.  It didn’t come out perfect so I just trimmed the ends until they looked right.

I then did this with another weft with more clips except higher up on my head.  I just decided where I wanted the extensions to end, put my finger there, and cut.  So in the back of my head I only have 2 wefts.

Next I took two wefts with only 2 clips and placed them on the sides of my head, and like the rest decided where I wanted the extensions to end, and cut.  I can’t say they came out amazingly perfect, but they looked damn good to me.

Now onto the styling.  I put all my newly chopped wefts in where they felt most comfortable.  Next I took my Sultra Bombshell curling iron and sectioned my hair off into 3 sections, and sprayed both extensions and regular hair with heat protectant.  Then I just went ahead and curled the extensions and my hair all together, and let me tell you my hair came out so amazingly beautiful.  I literally could not stop touching my hair.  Below are pictures of what my hair came out like.  How do you all like?  If you have any questions about Luxy Hair Extensions, or about how I cut them or anything please leave a comment!
