As of recently my skin has been acting really weird, and has been breaking out in dry patches! So weird and gross I know but it has led me to the products I will be talking about in this post – Lush products. If you don’t know what Lush products are here is a little run down. Basically they make anything you can think of whether it be shower gels, soaps, shampoos etc, but they are all made from organic products ONLY, which is great for someone with sensitive skin. The stores are awesome, and the people working there are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it comes to picking out the products you want. They can actually sample most of the products on you, which is awesome if your skin tends to react weird to certain products. On my recent trip I picked up some stuff, and I will share it with you! Not only did I get some great products but they actually gave me 3 samples of anything I wanted and let me tell you these weren’t dinky little samples, but ones that I could use a couple of times!
Happy Hippy Shower Gel- The first thing you notice about this product is its amazingly realistic smell of grapefruit. It smells so yummy! It is also jam packed with Vitamin C ,which is great for making skin look brighter, and feel softer. It claims that it’s great smell helps to invigorate your senses, and helps you to really WAKE UP in the morning. What is really cool about this stuff is that it is clearly organic, and not made with soap, which can sometimes leave behind residue on skin, which I hate. It really makes your skin look and feel so clean, but moisturized at the same time. A lot goes a long way so make sure to only use a small drop, probably the size of a nickel on your loofa. You can purchase this formula in a small bottle for $10 or a HUGE bottle for $26.

Review 2 - Received this as a Christmas gift from my son!!! One of my most favorite scents! While showing with this, it is as if I am induldging in eating the most juiciest grapefruit! It is absolutely deliscious! I had told him that if there is ever such a thing as an Indefinate Wish List, that I would definately want this to be on it. Ocean Salt - One of the major downfalls of living in New England is the drastic change in weather and temperature we feel from day to day. This leads to skin that can become flaky and patchy due to all the elements it is exposed to on a daily basis. The only solution to that is to exfoliate and let me tell you this multitasker not only gets that job done, but goes far beyond it. This stuff is formulated with fresh avocado and coconut to moisturize the skin as it gently buffs away dead, dry skin. The antibacterial components found in the lime and vodka that is formulated in this helps to clear away black heads, blocked pores, and blemishes. Yes you heard it right, this stuff is not only used for the body but can be used for the face too! The minerals in the actual sea salt help to buff away impurities, dirt, and any blockages on the skin. I am absolutely loving this stuff because it makes my skin feel so amazingly soft, without really having to scrub it at all. I especially like putting this on my legs and really working it into the skin before I shave. It makes my legs feel so soft, and look amazing! I would recommend this to anyone, and although a little pricey ($19 for small container, $35 for large container) it is worth every penny. So far it really seems to be lasting, so go ahead and splurge a little on yourself.

Review 1- I found lush while randomly on the web one day and loved the sound of organic cosmetics that were good to your skin and smelled great. Ocean salt was one of the first things to catch my eye. So a year later I made my way to my first lush trip in Seattle. Reluctant to buy because of the price, I still bought it because it had such good reviews and I was looking to splurge. Ever since I've been using it on a daily basis at night to wash away my daily grime. I have combination skin along with slight eczema. I know most people say to use maybe once to three times a week but my favorite part of the day has become washing my face at night with my ocean salt. It has made my face so soft and smooth after only about a week. I can't stop touching my face. It has helped fight my grease, but it is a cleanser, so it naturally will dry out your skin (in my case I think because of my eczema and small microscopic cracks in my skin it burns a little sometimes) so at night I immediately moisturize with an over the counter hydrating cream that also treats my eczema. I immediately notice softer skin after and has been treating my acne as well.
Review 2 - This is the best face wash i have ever used. It is also excellent for the entire body. Exfoliates but does not dry skin. Smells amazing! I am addicted to this product.
Review 3 - I came into Lush and I wanted another skin cleanser besides Dark Angles which is my hands down favorite Lush Product, The sales lady gave me a sample of this as I bought a hair mask. I took it home and was amazed at the instant results. Its Perfect for smoothing and exfoliating away problem pimples, It has a strong smell but its not overpowering. It wakes you up and also relaxes you. It smells just like sea breeze.
Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner- One downfall of being a woman is having to shave A LOT, and sometimes in some pretty sensitive areas. This has plagued me for years because I suffer from some extreme razor burn that makes me never want to shave again. I told the lady at Lush my problem, and she knew right away that this would be a great product for me. We all love how luxuriously soft conditioner makes our hair, so why not try it on our skin? This is infused with cocoa butter, Argan oil and almond oils which all make skin feel amazingly soft. This stuff can be used a couple of different ways. It can be used to replace a shave gel. Just lather it on anywhere (after using the ocean salt ;)), shave, and experience skin that feels like silk. Or after you shower you can lather this on towel dried body, let it sit for a second, and then gently wipe it away with a towel. This product is literally amazing, and leaves my sometimes dry and patchy skin, extremely smooth and soft. It also smells floral with hints of rose that really bring out the inner girl in all of us! Although this is a little pricey at $30 ask the person working if you can take home a sample first to see if your money will be well spent!

Review 1 - My boyfriend gave me the P.S. I love you gift set for Valentine's Day and a little pot of this was inside. I love the scent it smells like a sweet rose or floral scent that lifts my spirits. It is also not too strong because strong scents tend to make me dizzy. It makes the skin so soft and for a long time too. A little goes a long way and I like to put it on areas where I feel the driest. Such as my elbows, knees, and anywhere else that needs some TLC. I put it on after I shower and dry myself with a towel. Then I put on the product because I feel like I'm not wasting product when I do it this way.
Review 2 - I've only used this product one time so far (I got it in a gift set for Valentine's Day) and I'm already in love. My boyfriend always comments on how soft my skin is and he and I agree, again after one use!, that this product has made it even softer. I will definitely be purchasing a full tub when I run out.
Review 3 - Body conditioner is THE perfect term for this product. I put it on at the end of my showers after I've shampooed, soaped up, shaved etc. It feels so smooth rubbing it on and the scent is beautiful! Sweet and roses. It has a very even, medium consistency-not too heavy or light. Immediately after rinsing if off you can feel how soft your skin is. It lasts through the towel dry and lingers for the whole day. I couldn't stop smelling myself and getting whiffs of it throughout the day! This is the cherry-on-top that my showers have been missing! I'd love to see more body conditioners made.
